Exciting Update: GetRide Introduces Scheduled Rides! We’re thrilled to announce a new feature on the GetRide app: Scheduled Rides! Now, riders can plan their trips in advance, and drivers can receive and accept ride offers even when they are offline. This update brings more flexibility and convenience to both riders and drivers, ensuring a smoother and more reliable ride experience. How Scheduled Rides Work Accessing the Scheduled Rides Feature: Open the GetRide app. Tap on the navigation dots in the top-left corner. Select Scheduled Rides from the menu. Accept the Terms and Conditions to proceed. For Riders: Set up your ride details, including pick-up and drop-off locations, date, and time. Your request will be visible to nearby drivers who can submit offers. Choose from the available offers that best fit your needs. For now, scheduled rides will be cash-only, but we will introduce more payment options soon! For Drivers: View scheduled ride requests, even when offline. Submit an offer with your preferred fare. Once a rider selects your offer, the ride is confirmed. Enhanced Communication & Safety Riders and drivers can communicate seamlessly within the app after an offer is accepted.
